Alex is a great musician and teacher… awesome studio set up with a wealth of experience. I have been playing for years but wanted to shift some gears in my understanding of theory and technique. Alex is really helping join up lots of dots and reinvigorate my love of guitar by creating light bulb moments for me. Super nice guy, immensely talented, what more can you ask for?

I have now had a couple of lessons with Alex and my early impressions are very positive. He teaches out of a lovely studio/batcave next to his home in central Guildford. He has a huge knowledge of music and is a very enthusiastic and motivated teacher that works hard for his pupils. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to other guitar players of all levels.

Alex is such a friendly and knowledgable guitar teacher – I have learnt and understood more theory and guitar in general in a few lessons than in the last 2 years I’ve played guitar. I have been taking banjo lessons here for around 4 months. Alex is a very talented musician and a great teacher, he has a real knack for tailoring lessons to the needs and capabilities of his students. Sessions are always fun and interesting, and I really enjoy learning to play some of my favourite songs!

It is clear that Alex is an exceptionally talented and passionate musician who genuinely cares about his students – you really are learning from the best!
