Guitar Lessons in Guildford

Hi folks, my name is Alex and I am your premium guitar tutor for the Guildford, Surrey and surrounding area. (I teach via Zoom Skype or Teams too!)

Every lesson is tailored to the individual student, capturing hard parts via video to be downloaded and studied at the students convenience and comfort later.

All manuscript, Tablature and audio is also supplied at no extra cost.

Based in Guildford, Surrey I teach all styles; pop, rock, blues, Jazz, Classical to anyone from beginners to advanced students and to all age groups.

Lessons are always tailored to suit the student and are taught in a relaxed, friendly and patient manner in my professional air conditioned recording studio.

As well as teaching students their favourite songs I can also take students through the ROCK SCHOOL, TRINITY or ABRSM grades system if that is their preference, which goes towards UCAS points for university applicants.

My real asset as a teacher is a genuine passion for music that I love to pass on to my students. I believe that playing an instrument is one of the most special skills to have and I take great pleasure in sharing this appreciation. A complete musical geek I excel in precision and technique.

Achievement comes quickly when you’re enjoying yourself and so I make sure that my lessons move at an enjoyable pace. I combine just enough relevant theory with a large amount of practical work…  actually playing the guitar as this, after all, is where the fun is.
